If there were a single shoe you’d say is the epitome of American footwear, it’s this one. Not only is the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High a living legend in the world of sneakers, but this Stars & Bars edition will have you more eager to tie ‘em up than the refs in yesterday’s World Cup tilt against Slovenia. Check out the red, white and blue flag-cents that make this a special pair of Chucks and then cop a pair or 50 from a Sweedish store who knows enough about the history of the shoe name to have one of our states in their name: Caliroots’ Six Feet Down.

Nike SB Dunk Mid – Sport Red – Black – New Images.
Introducing the strapless Nike SB Dunk Mid. Ok, actually, these pairs have already been introduced via our exclusive preview earlier this week, and they’re not actually out yet in America, but we do have some new images to peep of what looks to be the first strapless SB Dunk Mid to hit retail. These come in that indomitable red/black/white colorway that Michael Jordan made famous with a similar sole about 25 years ago, but the Mid sans strap is a look that’s fresh for 2010. Check out some more angles after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates. via Arktz.

fragment design x Converse Chuck Taylor Ox – Navy – White.
It’s quite clear what Hiroshi Fujiwara likes to wear, or at least work with; check out this latest fragment design collaboration – this time with the Converse Chuck Taylor Ox. Fujiwara’s fragment design history with sneakers follows the same fabric – low-cut lifestyle shoes. The Nike Tennis Classic, the Nike Match Classic, and the Nike All Court Low are some of his most recent projects (which is pretty much a great colorway stamped with his fragment logo) and the Chuck Taylor Ox falls right in line. Check out the detailed pics after the jump and pick up this pair over at Japan’s bingorunner.
Nike Air Force 1 Mid – White – 3M Swoosh | Available.
We just saw a Nike Air Force 1 in white leather with a 3M reflective Swoosh, so why is there another one coming out now? Simple: the aforementioned Uptowns were Lows, whereas the new release is the relatively rare AF1 Mid. These joints are totally white, including the outsole, so during the day, you’ve got the perfect look for summer. At night, though, the Swooshes light up to keep you safe and turn some heads. Grab a pair today from a Nike Sportswear retailer like Kix-Files.

Supra TK Society – Fall 2010 Collection.
Terry Kennedy added the Supra Stacks as his second signature, a lowtop look that serves as the perfect low-key foil to his flamboyant TK Society hightops. But just as is the case with the Skytop line, a new Supra doesn’t necessarily mean the death of an old one, so here are two new pairs of the Supra TK Society for Fall 2010. These two new pairs might be the very best TKs so far, with one topping a brown sole with navy blue canvas and the other pair mixing warm grey and brown suedes. Check for these today at your local Supra retailer.

Converse Jack Purcell LTT Ox – Sequins Pack.
Concentrating on the Jack Purcell for its 75th anniversary, another collection has surfaced, very much on the glam side. Decked out in a full sequined upper, you have a choice of black, silver or navy. The midsole and collar trim are fit with synthetic textile in the same color as the sequins for a tonal upper effect. We expected to see these in womens’ sizes, but low and behold- the stock reads mens’ sizes. the generic profile of the shoe can easily become co-ed but we just find it amusing that it would be made specifically with the male in mind. These are a real test of confidence. via Bingo Runner
Nike SB Blazer Mid Custom by JBF – ‘Molten Lava’.
This is taking the term “heat” to a different level. JBF, a talented sneaker-head with an interesting imagination took a pair of Nike SB Blazer Mids and applied a molten lava theme to the upper, using a mix of blazing oranges and super-vibrant yellows that mimic the relentless flow of molten lava. Black patent leather is also added for contrast, and on the tongue and heel-tab are expertly fashioned personal logo cut-outs. Check out the detailed pics after the jump and let us know if you would cop this scalding hot colorway if they ever released.
Nike Hyperfuse – Forest Green – White – Fall 2010.
When you mention “green Nike Hyperfuse“, chances are, people are talking about the pairs budding superstar Rajon Rondo has rocked this postseason. Rondo’s green Hyperfuses feature the soon-to-be-familiar moth wing/spin-art ankle, but the white pair he wore in Orlando was more of a plain, Team Bank look. This new pair, then, is the inversion of that one, going with a ’simple’ green upper that gets a helluva lot of ‘texture’ thanks to its heavily-vented silhouette. White accents make this a good choice for the Celtics, and you can expect these amongst the rest of the TB Hyperfuses that will drop in Fall 2010. via SoleCollector

Air Jordan IX (9) Retro – White – Citrus – Dark Army.
The Summer of the IX continues! Three great releases of the Air Jordan IX have already made its way through 2010 but coming soon is this limited colorway of white, citrus, and dark army. Sneaker News gave you a teaser of this interesting colorway in late April and the introduction of contrast stitching and never-before-seen laces stirred up some conversation. We still have the OG White/True Red-Black, Un-Powder, and Black/Citrus pair coming soon so what might seem like overkill might just be a pleasantry in disguise because this is the first mass-Retro of the IX since ‘02. Continue reading for some new detailed images; just 2,000 pairs are rumored to be dropping as a Quickstrike in the near future, but VMVINC has a few sizes available for purchase now.
