Reebok Dash Runner

Reebok Dash Runner
The Insta Pump Fury has enjoyed some extra time in the spotlight during this 18th anniversary year, including OG colorups, new styles and the HLS update.  On the other end of the spectrum is the iconic Classic lowtop, and somewhere in between, you’ll find this Reebok Dash Runner, an ’80s-era lowtop with connectons to the CL and Paris Runner (and even a bit of Dual Pump Runner if you squint).  The black/white/orange pair hearkens back to the early ’90s Pump/Blacktop heyday while a grey/black/yellow pair throws a twist on that familiar palette, and both are available now at RBK retailers like Shelta.

adidas Pro Model Zero 2.0

adidas Pro Model Zero 2.0
Anyone with the slightest bit of experience with structural engineering knows that in general, more triangles equals a stronger structure.  So when dealing with lightweight synthetic materials like those in use on the adidas Pro Model 0 II, it makes sense that you’d want to add some extra load-bearing supports and make the shoe even lighter.  Basketball shoes continue their progression toward the ‘birds nest’ look with this Pro Model Zero 2.0 adding ventilation and reducing weight, and this white/black colorup manages to capture the cyclical and enduring quality of the most basic palette.  They’re out now directly from adidas, so have a closer look and let us know where they rank versus Nike’s comparable models.

Reebok Zig Escape – John Wall Season 3

Reebok Zig Escape John Wall Season 3
Reebok Basketball’s lone star athlete John Wall will enter his third NBA season later this year – will he be able to Escape the depths of the NBA Lottery and lead the Washington Wizards to a Playoff berth? The Wizards are definitely among the most talked-about teams this offseason for their impressive roster-revamp; they’ve added Emeka Okafor to battle down low alongside Nene, bolstered the swingman position with Trevor Ariza, and drafted Bradley Beal of Florida to help out in the backcourt. It seems the Wizards made all the right moves toward Playoff contention, but the future of the Wizards truly lies on the shoulders of John Wall, who will debut the Reebok Zig Escape later this year. The Zig midsole returns with a dazzling upper that anyone will quickly attribute to the Reebok Kamikaze and an exterior lacing system that gives the Zig Escape a sportier look. Another tonal-black colorway is available for preview below, so take a look and we’ll keep you updated on more of the Wall’s third signature shoe with Reebok. Photos: ult

Vans California Madero

Vans California Madero
Vans entire legacy is built on the back of a couple of key plimsoll designs, but they’ve shown in recent years that while an oxford vamp may be superior for skate purposes, the roughly inverted derby style has its own place in the Off the Wall lineup.  Designs like the Zero, Pritchard and Spectator have slipped the ‘open laced’ style into our everyday vocabulary and now a new model is set to debut for the fall season.  The Vans California Madero continues the move toward refining the classics with an ever so slightly slimmed down sole and two tweed colorups whose leather accents lend a premium touch.  Let us know whether the black/white or earthy pair looks better after you’ve seen both below and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.  via FNG
