Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) POP – New Images

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) POP New Images

LeBron’s contract extension with Nike was yesterday’s biggest sneaker story, but fans of Kobe’s kicks had no need to worry about the Black Mamba jumping ship, as he already signed a contract extension with the Beaverton boys three years ago. Bron and Kobe are easily 1 and 2 in the sneaker game and in the NBA, which has boded well for Nike over the last few years. It gives Nike the opportunity to create extra colorways for their playoff pursuits, like the Nike Zoom Kobe V POP, which features a quintessential Lakers colorway with a graphic of pyramidal tessellations on the upper. Check out these new detailed pics after the jump; the Zoom Kobe V POP is now available at Dunk.

Following the White/Varsity Red XIII that is rumored to be dropping in September will likely be the beloved Flint Grey edition in November. While these releases have still not been officially confirmed, from what we hear, it’s looking pretty good right now for these to be hitting stores again this holiday season.

Nike All Court Low – Navy Blue – White – Available @ 21 Mercer

Nike All Court Low Navy Blue White Available @ 21 Mercer

Some of the earliest Nike All Court samples were erroniously labeled as Blazers, and it’s clear why that mistake was made. The All Court does look quite a bit like the Blazer, and yet, somehow, this pair really doesn’t. It’s the navy stitching that makes these canvas-uppered All Court Lows look totally unique, and the asymmetrical toe cap reminds you that it’s part of the family. Grab a pair today at Nike Sportswear retailers including the NSW flagship at 21 Mercer St. in NYC.

Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1

Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Release Info

Its safe to say that the Parra x Patta Nike Air Max 1 is one of the years best designed and most highly anticipated releases of 2010.

The shoe has the makings of a legend with its dual cool cosign on a classic silhouette. Not to mention the color palette is pretty amazing. Well they are dropping this month at the Patta store and very select Nike Sportswear retailers. Be on the lookout for them dropping March 13th but chances are you probably won’t be getting a pair.

Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Release Recap

The biggest release of 2010 went down yesterday as the Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 was released in mob-scene fashion at Amsterdam-based sneaker shop Patta. It was apparent that a good amount of effort was required in order to get a pair because quantities were very limited. A camp-out was needed just to get on the list of lucky recipients; some brought lawn chairs, others set up shop in the back of a van. Of course, an event of this magnitude required some flavor, as some sneakerheads came out with some real heat – check the Ueno Nike Air Force 1, Kanye West Louis Vuittons, and more. Peep the collection of pics, and let’s hope the U.S. release won’t be as crazy. Thanks to Shooto and lacebag.nl.

CLOT x adidas Originals Star Wars “Hoth” Superskate

Last February New York City was invaded by Darth Vader and a fleet of Stormtroopers during the Star Wars x adidas Invasion of NYC. The collaboration between the two icons of film and fashion included a great collection of Star Wars inspired adidas Originals. This latest pair is actually the work of Hong Kong crew CLOT, an adidas Originals Superskate High designed with the Hoth Rebel Alliance in mind. It features a a two-toned suede upper with diagonal checkerboard stitching and a fuzzy snow-white lining like the fur of the giant creature known as the taun taun. If you’re a big fan of the greatest big-screen saga in history, you don’t want to miss this.

With the recent announcement that Takahiro Miyashita would be closing down his highly sought after label, Number (N)ine, he finds it suiting to work on a collection for Converse, as he sees it as his beginning to an end. “My childhood started with Converse” he says, noting that with the closing of Number (N)ine, that Converse has a special existence in relation to both his youth and the end of his brand.

The collection will start off with a release of a Chuck Taylor All Star Low and a One Star. Both pairs will feature premium deer skin with shag uppers; yellow for the Chuck Low and white for the One Star. Both will feature asymmetrical lacing, inspired by the design of the Converse Odessa, a runner for the 70’s known for its innovative lacing system. In fact, this collection will continue with Miyashita’s own interpretation of the Odessa Trainer for a release later in the year. The All-Star Low and One Star, however, will drop in unisex sizes on March 13th at very select locations. Check after the jump for further retail info.
