Reebok Dash Runner

The Insta Pump Fury has enjoyed some extra time in the spotlight during this 18th anniversary year, including OG colorups, new styles and the HLS update.  On the other end of the spectrum is the iconic Classic lowtop, and somewhere in between, you’ll find this Reebok Dash Runner, an ’80s-era lowtop with connectons to the CL and Paris Runner (and even a bit of Dual Pump Runner if you squint).  The black/white/orange pair hearkens back to the early ’90s Pump/Blacktop heyday while a grey/black/yellow pair throws a twist on that familiar palette, and both are available now at RBK retailers like Shelta.

Reebok Basketball’s lone star athlete John Wall will enter his third NBA season later this year – will he be able to Escape the depths of the NBA Lottery and lead the Washington Wizards to a Playoff berth? The Wizards are definitely among the most talked-about teams this offseason for their impressive roster-revamp; they’ve added Emeka Okafor to battle down low alongside Nene, bolstered the swingman position with Trevor Ariza, and drafted Bradley Beal of Florida to help out in the backcourt. It seems the Wizards made all the right moves toward Playoff contention, but the future of the Wizards truly lies on the shoulders of John Wall, who will debut the Reebok Zig Escape later this year. The Zig midsole returns with a dazzling upper that anyone will quickly attribute to the Reebok Kamikaze and an exterior lacing system that gives the Zig Escape a sportier look. Reebok Harrier Weathermax

The word ‘harrier’ has an attacking connotation, from the Webster’s definition to the McDonald Douglas jet designed for use by the armed forces. And in the case of the Reebok Harrier, the model name had been used for spikes used to assault an oval track. But it’s being taken in a new direction, namely off the track and onto a path through the wilderness. Here’s our first look at the Reebok Harrier Weathermax, a rugged trail runner those two above-pictured colorways are set to hit retailers in the coming months. Reebok John Wall Zig Slash II – Black – Blue

Earlier today Sneaker News showed you a new version of the Reebok Zig Slash, presumably the Zig Slash II. That colorway of White/Black/Red didn’t seem to fit much into Wall’s routine, but this new colorway of Black/Blue/White matches the Wizards uniform fairly well. What do you think of the new design of the Zig Slash? The original version featured a unique upper design with tessellations on the upper with large REEBOK branding, but clearly the Zig Slash II takes a more subtle approach in represented the brand (as if Zig could be described as ‘subtle’). Quite a nifty play on words, isn’t it? John Wall’s been living up to that “number-one overall” standard with averages of 15.4 points, 8.8 assists, 3.5 boards, and 1.8 steals per contest. Sneaker News showed you the Reebok Zig Slash ‘Great Wall’ PE that John Wall wore for a few games during the season; it features a sublime graphic on the mudguard, depicting the Great Wall of China with the words ‘Humble’ and ‘Hungry’ written in Chinese dialect. This ‘Home’ based colorway is just one of twelve in existence, so take a look at the detailed shots after the jump and pick up this 1-of-12 Player Exclusive Zig Slash in size 9 from raw-sneaks on eBay.

Reebok Women’s CL Leather Clear – Rainbow Pack.

Reebok probably wasn’t seeking to emulate Nike with this new release, but if you’ve been around the sneaker game for any length of time, you might find them quite similar to a couple of earlier pairs. The Reebok CL Leather is pictured above in its Rainbow Pack editions, opting for a simple single-colored leather upper and ROY G BIV on the bottoms. There have been a bunch of rainbow kicks, especially for girls, but this ladies-only drop from RBK is sure to have you thinking of Busy P’s 1World Nike Air Force 1 from early 2009. That’s where the similarity ends, as these Reeboks eschew the AF1’s scribbling and make the sole a centerpiece with its unique cushion revealed through translucency. These should hit American RBK retailers soon as they’re available now from Japan’s Bingorunner, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Reebok Pump Omni Lite – 20th Anniversary.

Reebok is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Pump by releasing some sick colorways of their classic Reebok models that featured the gimmicky gotta-have-it Pump technology. From special collaborations with Huf and Packer Shoes to the Reebok Pump Respect Pack, the ‘Bok has been “pumping” out great release after release and doing the Pump proud on its 20th birthday. This grey-purple-hot pink colorway of the Reebok Pump Omni Lite is actually part of the aforementioned Reebok Pump Respect Pack 2; lucky for us, they just dropped over at Extra Butter, so get yours before they disappear.
