Vans Vault Priz Hi Lace II LX – Holiday 2012 Colorways

Vans Vault Priz Hi Lace II LX Holiday 2012 Colorways
Even with today’s marketing savvy and continually compounding internet technology, no brand out there can claim the same kind of street cred as Vans.  Off the Wall are the original skateboarding footwear brand, have a certain amount of ‘authenticity’ built right into their most popular silhouette and even did a lengthy stint in the California state prison system.  A reimagined version of the silo that showed up behind bars in the 1970s and ’80s, the Vans Vault Priz Hi Lace II LX must have been lifting weights or something because it looks quite handsome in a mix of an uneven textile and Off the Wall’s favorite suede.  Red/brown and black pairs await your click below, then find them available at Vans Vault retailers next month.

Vans California Madero

Vans California Madero
Vans entire legacy is built on the back of a couple of key plimsoll designs, but they’ve shown in recent years that while an oxford vamp may be superior for skate purposes, the roughly inverted derby style has its own place in the Off the Wall lineup.  Designs like the Zero, Pritchard and Spectator have slipped the ‘open laced’ style into our everyday vocabulary and now a new model is set to debut for the fall season.  The Vans California Madero continues the move toward refining the classics with an ever so slightly slimmed down sole and two tweed colorups whose leather accents lend a premium touch.  Let us know whether the black/white or earthy pair looks better after you’ve seen both below and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.  via FNG

Vans California Slip-On Washed LP “Camo”

Vans California Slip On Washed LP Camo
Warfare is known to initiate conversations and cross-cultural pollination between combatants, but we’ve never seen a sneaker design hint at this phenomenon qutie like the new Off the Wall design pictured above.  The Vans Slip-On in its LP form from the California collection isn’t as ‘Low Profile’ as the ‘Lo Pro’ edition, nor was it really meant to be hidden away, as the unique blend of World War II USMC jungle camouflage and an espadrille-like woven jute sole sidewall offer a novel mix of European influences.  Have a look at that unique style after the jump and look for these at Vans California retailers.

Check out these Vans California Chukka Del Barco Decons for Q3, a model whose no-nonsense suede designs nicely compliment the leaner silhouette. Vans OTW Collection – Summer 2010 Preview.

Vans OTW Collection Summer 2010 Preview

When the Vans Vault lineup launched about a year and a half ago, Off the Wall brought together their classic models and built them with premium materials and impressive colorways. Somewhere between these releases and their contemporary designs is the new OTW Collection, “a new offering of sophisticated footwear that blends progressive street fashion and athletic styling with design cues from [Vans'] rich heritage in action sports.” We’ve seen several of these models, including the Tustin and Frazier lowtops and the Bedford and Alomar highs. New to the group are the Larkin lows and Bigelow midtops, which meld the Mountain Edition’s midfoot strap with the Forty-Four’s silhouette. Have a look at the entire summer collection after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Vans OTW Collection release dates. via SF
